A little recognition is coming to our community. Last week, Delco Times Correspondent Neil Sheehan reported that a Money Magazine editor paid a recent visit to Nether Providence. It appears that our community has made the short list for their annual “Best places to live” report. Sheehan reports that Money visited some of our local parks and community resources. The editor also made an appearance at the absolutely charming Strawberry Festival at the Wallingford Presbyterian Church. We do not yet know if further accolades will follow, but as our slogan says, we already know that N.P. is “A Beautiful Place to Call Home.”
In the same story, it was also noted that the Pittsburgh Business Times ranked the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District the 16th highest performing school district out of the Commonwealth’s almost 500 districts.
