Lansdale Public Library has been instructed by the governor to close. As a result of that as well as out of an abundance of caution to implement 'social distancing' the North Penn Democrats have cancelled all in person meetings for the time being.

The next Zoom Meeting will be held on Wednesday November 25th at 7pm.  It will continue to be by invitation only. To request that invitation please send an email to

Our Mission

We support Democratic candidates at all levels in their outreach to the citizens of the North Penn Area and pledge to staff every Polling Station for every Election as a visible sign of our support.

Tim MacBain has taught social studies at Upper Dublin High School for twelve years, and is a proud alum of Shippensburg University (BS Ed. 2003) and Villanova University (MA in Political Science, 2008).

He started out as a volunteer for Governor Ed Rendell’s re-election campaign and Senator Bob Casey’s campaign in 2006, before deciding to become a committeeperson in Upper Gwynedd to focus more on local issues and local elections.

Tim now serves as North Penn Democrats First Vice-Chair, and was honored in 2014 with the North Penn Democrats Rising Star Award.

Tim is passionate about supporting public education, local businesses, and civic engagement, and works to create civil and inclusive ways to find solutions to our community’s needs. He now lives in Towamencin with his wife Stephanie and their two daughters.
